I Am Charlie Kirk

When I see the hatred poured out against Charlie, I feel it personally. He is my brother in Christ. His wife is my sister. Those who hate him so vehemently hate me too. And yet, I refuse to let that hatred plant fear in my heart.

Charlie was more than a hero to me. He is a symbol of courage—of standing boldly when the world demands silence. His life, and even the opposition against him, has stirred something deep within me. It has reminded me that faith is not about safety or comfort. It is about trust in God, obedience to Christ, and courage no matter the cost.

I want my faith in God to burn so brightly that it obliterates fear completely. Fearless like Charlie. Bold like the martyrs who came before us. Ready to encourage every warrior and love every soul.

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own…Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.” ~Jesus

This is my prayer: Lord, make me unshaken. Let my courage rise with every storm. Let my love shine brighter than the darkness…not for my own glory but for His.

I will not back down. I will not be silent. I will not let fear write the end of my story.

  1. I agree and am encouraged by this. Thanks for sharing. This has left a mark on my teenage and young adult children. Charlie Kirk displayed why we were all put on this earth. With the gospel of hope the world desperately needs and God by our side, why wouldn’t we be bold!
